Fewer things spark more filmi excitement than the news of a book-based flick in the making. For me, it's an exciting thought -- building up mental images of characters immortalized on paper, and actually seeing them on the big screen. Now that I've finally finished Shantaram -- and boy, I loved the book, here's a quick run-through some of the books I've read that were made into movies, and my pick between ink and celluloid.
